Simon Skerratt-Williams
Head of Wealth Planning
As Head of Bordier Wealth Planning, Simon oversees our team of wealth planners as well as providing a wide range of financial advice to clients.
For more than 30 years, since graduating in Law from Southampton University, Simon has been providing advice to private clients out of a broad range of leading financial institutions including traditional investment managers, global investment banks and a multi-family office.
As well as amassing a significant level of technical expertise, Simon has gained an innate sense of what is right for private clients through many years of practical experience.
Nick Lawes
Senior Wealth Planner
Nick joined Bordier Wealth Planning in 2024, having previously worked at Brooks Macdonald for over 20 years. During this time, he was variously head of their financial planning division, a member of the executive committee and on the main Board of the company.
Nick has over 40 years’ experience in the financial services industry, working alongside clients’ solicitors, accountants and investment managers, and focusses on advising families on all aspects of their finances, but particularly on more complex intergenerational planning issues.
Andrew McCulloch
Senior Wealth Planner
Andrew joined Bordier Wealth Planning in 2022 and has over 20 years’ experience in working with private clients, charities and trusts.
Andrew enjoys advising a broad range of clients, with a particular specialism in working with private equity partners and business owners. Andrew joined from 7IM, where he was a Private Client Director for the last seven years. He also spent eight years at UBS Wealth Management as a Client Advisor, giving him experience and practical expertise in a wide range of planning and advice.
He is a Chartered Wealth Manager and qualified financial planner, as a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
James Wilson
Senior Wealth Planner
James began his career in 2016, having studied law at Abertay University and University of Edinburgh. James spent six months as a commodities broker before joining Brooks Macdonald as a financial planning trainee; subsequently joining Bordier Wealth Planning in 2021.
James advises clients on a broad range of matters, including investment structuring, tax planning, estates and trust planning as well as pensions. James also has experience in working with other professionals to provide solutions for clients with international planning requirements.
James is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
Eli Moaksom
Wealth Planning Assistant
Eli joined Bordier Wealth Planning in 2022 as a Wealth Planning Assistant after graduating from the University of Bristol with a BS(Hons) Business Management degree. She has previous experience in administrative roles, involving working alongside clients.
Eli is currently studying towards her CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
Brandon Bianchina
Wealth Planning Assistant
Brandon joined Bordier Wealth Planning in 2024 as a Wealth Planning Assistant and has previous experience in accounting and administrative roles within the financial services industry.
Brandon is currently studying towards his CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
Cheryl Hatfield
Client Services Administrator & Business Support
Cheryl has worked within financial services for over 35 years and joined Bordier UK in 2018, having started her career at Coutts Private Bank.
Cheryl has significant experience in dealing with private clients and providing the highest level of service across a broad range of matters. Cheryl supports our Wealth Planning team as well as the broader Bordier Group.
